Denying Sacrifice - Update!

So, this is the artwork for the DVD cover... I'll work on a book and DVD cover when I have some back blurn written!

Oh, and on the subject of the book itself, my good friend has offered to do it ... then it'll be a matter of what to do with it afterwards!!

Denying Sacrifice...

I really don't know what to do about the book I started writing years and years ago! I have a paper version (the computer it was on died horribly) and know it needs at the very least a final edit... but can I be arsed to re-type it all again!! Agh... or are there companies out there who will type these things up for you...?

What's the story... well I think I'll do a dvd cover for it and then you can read the back blurb!! ;)

The Pescatons DVD Artwork

OK, so now for the next one. I've only seen one other cover for The Pescatons and that was created through the expertise of Peter Moore!

But having sat and listened to it today I thought I'd have a shot at this 1975 (released 1976) official audio drama.

With this one I pulled DW images from The Brain of Morbius and then found other images on the web... I'm a bit happier with the cropping round the actors' heads this time by blurring a slightly larger version behind an edge faded in focus main image. I played around with the meteorites quite a lot - they seem to work best in clusters!

I've included the main artwork piece without the DVD cover to see the full idea. I may do some more tweaks but let's see...

OK so I've had a play and come up with an alternative image... what do you think?

Destiny of the Doctors PC Game Cover Art

So I couldn't find any DVD covers for this game published in 1997, so this is my first stab at a DVD cover and I'm pretty chuffed with the result! :)

Had a lot of support from the lovely people over at Gallifreybase where you will find loads of fantastic work, and this has certainly inspired me to do more!

Do note however that you need to resize the image slightly if you are wanting to use it (which you can by the way, no need to check).

I have also published here the original artwork I did so you can see how much it developed! :)

On another note, does this inspire you to go and get the game? It may but even for 1997 it was a bit naff, although the ideas behind it were nice ... and as of now (2010) it's the only computer game there's ever been (unless you count Top Trumps which I don't!).
